Turriff Show are the proud recipients of the Grampian Infant Feeding Advocacy Award.

The Agricultural Society were presented with the award for providing facilities and support with breastfeeding for families attending the Show and for welcoming the support staff for the past few years.

Turriff District Agricultural Society were delighted to accept the award from NHS Grampian Infant Feeding Team and Aberdeen City and Shire Health and Social Care Partnership.

The society aim to continuously improve and develop facilities and accessibility for all visitors and guests that attend the 2-day show. Along with providing a quiet area for feeding if needed, within the Ferguson Hall, 2024 saw the introduction of a mobile changing places facility by PAMIS.

To further support the NHS Grampian breast feeding team, the 2024 Industrial Section included a class in the Hand Knitting and Crochet section where exhibitors could enter a pair of knitted breasts. With all entries in the class being donated to the feeding team to be used as teaching aids. Download the Industrial Schedule for details of the 2025 classes.
