What are the opening times of the show?
Sunday & Monday 7am-6pm
Are Carer/Companion tickets available?
Yes, One Complimentary companion ticket can be issued to the Companion/Carer of a full paying Adult/Concession visitor. Please be aware that you will be asked to provide evidence for your purchase to be accepted. This includes a Blue Badge, PIP (Personal Independence Payment), Letter from a Medical Professional, etc. Companion tickets can be issued on the day or you can receive before show days by contacting the show office.
Are there accessible facilities at the Show?
Yes, there are accessible toilet facilities in the accessible parking area, the Dog Show/Highland Dancing area, Ferguson Hall, Ringside Toilets and behind the Grandstand.
We also have the PAMIS mobile changing places toilet. This vehicle, the pamiloo, provides a fully accessible toileting facility.
Is there accessible parking?
Yes, the accessible parking is situated at the front of the main parking area at the showground. Please note a Blue Badge is required to gain entry to the accessible parking area. The car parking attendants will guide you to the correct area.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Turriff Show but MUST be kept on a lead at all times.
Is my advance purchase ticket valid any day?
No, if you have purchased an e-ticket for a specific day, you will only be able to use it on that day.
Can I hire a wheelchair or mobility scooter?
Yes, these will be located next to the entrance of the show form our main car parking area. It is advisable to pre-book wheelchair or mobility scooter hire to avoid disappointment.

Is there anywhere to leave luggage?
No, there are no areas for visitors to leave luggage
What should I wear?
Dress appropriately for the weather. Although most of the showground has tarred walkways if it’s raining, we would advise waterproof, warm footwear and a warm jacket. Alternatively, if the weather is warm make sure you are wearing comfortable, breathable shoes for walking about the showground in. Sun cream and hats are also recommended on warmer days
Am I allowed to bring my own picnic?
Yes, we do not discourage anyone bringing their own picnic, although no alcohol should be brought onto the premises and should only be purchased through our licenced facilities. We also ask for all our visitors to take care of the environment and make sure they dispose of their litter and waste accordingly.
Is smoking allowed anywhere in Turriff Showground?
There are smoking restrictions in all the marquees and buildings within the showground.
Are there cash machines at the show?
We have no cash machines at the show, but the town has a number of ATMs where money can be withdrawn. Please note that some of our exhibitors may have the ability to take payment by card on their stands but this will be varied.
Can I walk around the livestock areas?
Access to the restricted areas of the cattle pens and equine warm up areas is strictly limited to Exhibitors wearing the relevant livestock wristbands. Under no circumstances will security staff allow access to these areas to dogs, pushchairs, mobility scooters, wheelchairs, etc, due to health and safety reasons. The public are free to walk around the sheep pens. Spectators have access to watch the cattle and equine judging rings safely from behind the ring fences. The prize winners can also be seen in the Parade of Horses on Sunday Afternoon and during the Grand Parade in the main ring on the Monday afternoon.
Can I leave and re-enter the show during the day?
Yes, make sure you ask one of our stewards at the gates for a re-entry wristband when you leave to ensure you can get back in to the showground.
What is there for children to do?
We have lots of activities on during the show for the children to enjoy. Click here to find out more
How much is it to park my car at the show?
Car parking is £5 per car
Where is the best place to stay?
There are various hotels, B&B’s and guest houses in and around Turriff. Click here to see some suggestions of nearby accommodation
What is the best day to visit?
Both days are filled with something for everyone. On the Sunday we welcome the horse and pony exhibitors and on Monday it’s the turn of the livestock exhibitors with cattle and sheep present at the show.
Can I get a refund on my ticket?
No we don’t give any refunds on ticket sales
Are there plenty of toilets and refreshment areas?
We have a number of facilities throughout the Showground. See our show map for more details on where these are located.
Are there baby changing areas?
Yes, we have an area in the Ferguson Building for parents to change and feed their babies
Who can be admitted on Family Tickets?
2 Adults and 2 children (15-17 years old in full-time education)
Proof of full-time education must be shown at the gate along with the family ticket (Young Scot or Student Card)
